Dear all,

 

Please join us on Tuesday evening for our monthly Community Management Team meeting.  We have a lot of items on this month's agenda, including:

 

Traffic Calming Presentation – Doug Hausladen from the Management Team's Public Safety Committee will make a presentation on strategies for maintaining safer streets. Preservation of Historic Buildings – Trina Learned of the Historic District Commission and Dave Barone of the City Plan Department will present information about historic building designation, the process and procedure for demolition of such a structure, what happens when there is opposition to demolition, and what the inferences of the potential demolition of 3 Trumbull St. are for other similarly designated structures in New Haven. District Safety Update – Lt. Tchakirides will be with us to give an update on crime statistics and can speak to the recent events in our district and any other public safety concerns you may have.

By-Law Revision – The Executive Board will present three small revisions to the Management Team By-Laws including:

1. Article 4, Section A - "Said meetings will start at 6:00 p.m."
2. Article 4, Section C - "The Annual Meeting of The Team will be held concurrently with the March General Meeting." Replaces "The Annual Meeting...establishes a new location."
3. Article 5, Section C-4 - "Assume the duties of the Chairperson in the absence of the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson."
