Call for Nominations: Strategy Planning Group to Plan a Potential Merger of DSpace and DSpace-CRIS

The DSpace Steering Group is now accepting self-nominations for the new DSpace and DSpace-CRIS Strategic Planning Group. We are excited to announce this opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of DSpace and DSpace-CRIS.

The Strategy Planning Group is open to members of the DSpace Leadership Group, DSpace Steering Group, the DSpace Community Advisory Team (DCAT), and DSpace-CRIS representative groups. DSpace Steering approves all appointments.

The Strategy Planning Group is charged to make recommendations to the DSpace Steering Group for a successful potential merger of the DSpace and DSpace-CRIS communities by developing a clear strategic vision, fostering collaboration between governance structures, and addressing the needs of all stakeholders. The planning group will outline the steps that would be necessary for a seamless merger while promoting transparency, inclusivity, and alignment with the long-term vision for DSpace.
