Hello,

Everyone is welcome to attend the DSpace Community Advisory Team (DCAT) meeting, Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, 11:00 ET/ 16:00 UTC.

Topic: Making the Most of DSpace 7.x Configurations:

Has your institution upgraded to DSpace 7.x? Join us to learn how Paige Morgan and the University of Delaware repository team have successfully applied particular features or configuration changes. After Paige’s presentation, we’ll invite others on the call to share their experiences. Please note: we are not asking about customizations (which are often less sustainable) – this session is about adjustments that you have made within the default configuration. For example, if you have commented out the jurisdiction property within the configuration for Creative Commons licenses in order to get 4.0 international licenses.

If you are able, please come prepared to share a useful configuration change, as well as any code snippets or links to relevant documentation within DSpace. We are interested in helping repository managers understand what configurations they can request from their development teams, and gathering together these configuration changes to share them with the wider DSpace community.

If you can join the call, or are willing to comment on the topic via the meeting page, please add your name, institution, and repository URL to the call attendee section of the meeting’s wiki page.

If you missed the excellent November discussion about statistics, view the notes here: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/cmtygp/DCAT+Meeting+November+2023.
