Customising the DSPACE-CRIS 9.2 home page with Collection Title and number of items instead of entities list

Dear Members,

Recently, we started to implement DSPACE-CRIS for our institute. We would like to have the list of collections in the home page with counters and replace the defaulty Entities list. 

We checked the cris-sections.xml file under /dspace-directory/config/spring/api

We could see the CountersComponent. We would like to have guidance/ help in achieving the above.

Hello,

Since the Dspace-CRIS merger is not yet complete, I can't say for sure that the same documentation will apply. 

However, generally for customizing your home page I would point you first towards the User Interface Customization guide.  There is an example given for home page news, but to replace other components on the page the process would be similar - creating copies of relevant component code from "src/app/home-page" within your custom theme directory to make changes there.
