500 Service Unavailable

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have installed Dspace7.6.1  on Windows Server,  however when i try to launch i get the error: "500 Service Unavailable. The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. "  Can somebody help to resolve it. Will be grateful.

Hi,

A 500 error is usually a sign of a communication issue between the frontend and backend.  This is one of the Common Installation Issues listed at the bottom of the Install Guide at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-%22500ServiceUnavailable%22fromtheUserInterface
