I need to show the AEs how to capture SD 29.97 telecine transfer reels into Media Composer. I haven't done it since maybe 1999. I hope it'll come back when I sit in front of a machine.

Is this generally the way you do it? Setup a 24p or 23.976p project and capture as usual, but make sure to mark an in point at 01:00:00:00 or each 5 frames thereafter? Then Media Composer removes the 3:2?

If the project is 24p does Media Composer do a correct audio pullup?
