Some Really BIG News

For the first time in our two year history of Dark Recesses Press we
are going to have to delay the release of an issue. Due to several
culminating factors it has been decided to release Issue 8 one month
later than its scheduled date of July 1st. It has been a difficult
decision, but in order to maintain the quality you and I have come to
expect from DRP, it is necessary.
There have been several technical issues bouncing around on this side
of screen which has created havoc with getting the CD for issue 7
available. That said, the issues have been resolved and it will be
available soon.
Now for the really BIG news.
Dark Recesses Press as you know it is going to change. The quality
and content you have become accustomed to will remain, but starting
January 2008, Dark Recesses Press will be switching to PRINT. We will
also be moving to a Bi-Annual schedule in order to keep our standards
high.
The last two years of being digital has provided us a great deal of
experience and understanding. The time has now come however, to trade
in the training wheels and move to the next step. The print issue
will feature a black/white - grayscale interior wrapped in a full
colour cover. There will be more non-fiction along with our regular
number of fiction offerings.
They will be available for purchase through our site. As we grow
closer to the release date of our first printed issue more details and
information will be made available.
