to Del-Mi District: Cub Scouting
Dear Del-Mi Cub Scout Leaders -

I hope this message finds you and your families healthy and at home. We didn't discuss pack planning in the era of social distancing, but that may be the way it has to get done this year. In our Scouts BSA troop, we've been using Google Hangouts and Zoom for virtual meetings, and they've both worked well for us. We're all going to have to be creative about how we run our lives and our programs right now. If you have ideas you'd be willing to share on how to keep the scouting program going when we can't meet in person, please send them to me and I will compile and distribute. So far, the district and council has been doing a good job of communicating the latest plans and circumstances, but the general guideline is to follow the lead of your local schools. If school is out, then scouting activities are off. Follow the regular channels for updates and guidance in the future.

For what it's worth, the link to last week's presentation is here: Pack Planning and Summer Activities

Stay home, and wash your hands!

Yours In Scouting,

Dan Swain
