ARE YOU INTERSTED IN SINGING WITH THE DLO CHORUS!
Last chance to get on board, as I already have 26 who have expressed interest, and I was going to limit it to 25 for starters, but it looks like a great group, and there is room for a few more. Please EMAIL ME at jea...@comcast.net by FRIDAY, FEB. 24, NOON! I will have to cut off at about 30 people.
Tomorrow night, I'm meeting with the music peeps to set a schedule and other such business. When we have a schedule available, I will contact all interested parties with a first meeting date and the schedule for March, April, May and June.
There will be some solo opportunities and possibly quartet/octet. We are also considering a men's number and a women's number. The cast of the youth musical will also be doing some performing during our scheduled time at Arts in the Park, so I anticipate the chorus will be doing about 40 minutes worth of music.
So excited to get this venture underway! My hope is that it will be great fun for all involved. A nice, relaxed opportunity to hang with theatre friends (old and new) and do some singing. If it goes well, we will continue the chorus past Arts in the Park in June for fundraisers and other events.
