(Dhow Festival) Photography contest
The organizing committee of the festival inviting photographers to participate in the contest (best picture) of
the festival, according to the following conditions:

• The competition is open to citizens and residents of both genders
in the State of Qatar.
• The image must be submitted express your
artistic vision to the theme of the
contest, and that is through the
Dhow festival for
the period from November 18 to 22, 2014.
• the maximum participation of the competition (6) high-quality images, Saved on CD in both
"JPEG - TIFF - 300 DPI.
• Submit on envelope with your
details (the Full Name – Phone and email) delivered
to the Department of Public Relations - Cultural Village - Katara Building No.
"15" or to Qatar Photographic Society Katara - Building No.
"18"
• You should not write any personal information or watermarks on the images.
• Don’t do any substantial modification to the image, but allows a simple adjustment
• Winners are selected by a panel of judges specialized
in the field of photography and its decisions are
final.
• The last date
for receiving images November 30,
2014.
•Katara has the right to re-use and print photos without reference to the photographer.

• first Place : 50 thousand riyals
• Second Place: 40 thousand riyals
• Third Place: 30 thousand riyals
• Fourth place: 20 thousand riyals
• Fifth place: 10 thousand riyals
