It is a lonely group that doesn't have any posts...

I am interested in what people are building: Small 'bots, big
'bots, autonomous or R/C?

I have three "brains" that I work with - LEGO MindStorms, Board
of Education (BOE) and the AVR Robot Controller (A.R.C.)

For chassis I have too many LEGOs to count, a lynxmotion body and a
couple of custom bodies I've built out of 3mm Suntra. The Suntra is
REALLY easy to work in - you can score it with a hobby knife and snap
it.

I recently competed at PAReX, the Phoenix Area Robot Experimenters,
annual competition. There were 3 events - Line following, Sumo and
Maze Solving. I competed in Line Following and took third. The second
place winner and I were VERY close in capabilities. His bot had more
sensors (QRD1114) than mine, which resulted in less swerving around the
line during the straight-aways.
So.. Tell me - What are you working on?

I'm not working on anything, as much as tracking units you can use "out of the box." The stuff by White Box Robotics is of particular interest. I'm more of a user than a tinker.

I wish there were more companies making bots like White Box.
