A group of us met last week to discuss ongoing actions to Save UH.

Our next meeting is scheduled for January 27 @ 3:00PM at Hawaiian Studies kitchen/lunch room (downstairs) at which we will plan for the following:

1) Feb 11 UH West Oahu/Leeward Community College teach-in (also on the key problem area of UHWO expansion)

2) Feb 18 BOR meeting 

3) Feb 19 Neil Abercrombie's talk @ Manoa

 `Ae. I want to second Nandita's appeal here. Its not about the pay cut. We got together last year because we believed that UH administrative leadership is actually contemptuous of the faculty and unconcerned about students. What it actually exists to do is a mystery and I think we need to get more faculty and students interested in shaping the future of the university and making sure that the chancellors, the president, the regents and politicians to hear us. Sorry for preaching but we need some people to show up.
