Topic: Tuning complex applications can be a difficult task. This
presentation will offer some specific strategies you can use to get the
most out of JBoss and your application. Topics will include: Recent
JBoss improvements, Finding bottlenecks, JBoss configuration, JVM and
GC configuration, and Tuning methodology. Where applicable, there will
be live demos, including a new technique to find memory leaks using
JBoss Profiler in your test cases.
Speakers:
Clebert Suconic is project lead of JBoss Profiler and JBoss
Serialization. Clebert also is responsible for performance testing on
JBoss and has made contributions to JBoss Remoting and JBoss
Application Server.
Phillip Thurmond is a performance engineer at JBoss. He is responsible
for internal benchmarking, finding optimizations in JBoss AS, as well
as supporting platform vendors in their own testing.
