"HornetQ : Putting the buzz in the messaging"
HornetQ is an open source high performance enterprise grade messaging
system from JBoss which has set a record breaking score in the
SPECjms2007 industry standard benchmark for JMS messaging system
performance. In this session Clebert, Project Lead for HornetQ will
talk about the internals of HornetQ implementation and what makes it
multi-protocol, embeddable messaging system. He also plans to cover
whats being discussed on the expert group and how it will fit in with
HornetQ.
Who:
Clebert Suconic, Project Lead for HornetQ, has been developing message
systems for at least 6 years where he was part of the team who wrote
JBoss Messaging, and also co founded HornetQ. Clebert wrote the native
layer for persistence on HornetQ. Prior to joining Red Hat Clebert
worked on Business Intelligence Systems while he was living in Brazil
and doing consulting on high performance applications, including a
development of a profiler. Clebert also wrote JBoss Serialization
which was at the time way faster than regular java serialization.
