Hibernate Shards enables you to horizontally grow your database farm
using a new piece in the Hibernate Family. This scaling extends the
core of Hibernate to enable easy distribution of data across multiple
database instances
Hibernate Search ties to together Hibernate and the Apache Lucene
project to bring easy searching of your data to the Hibernate family
of tools.
Come and learn about these new exciting pieces in the Hibernate
Family.

Jim Tyrrell is a JBoss Solutions Architect for JBoss a Division of Red
Hat. Jim has over 10 years of Java Experience delivering enterprise
applications and instruction for many different diverse clients:
including JBoss, Oracle, BEA and others. Jim has taken that
