to DET-TRAC (Deep East Texas Trail Route & Access Coalition)
DET-TRAC is looking for volunteers! We currently have a trail
expansion project going on at Kit McConnicos' Lost Arrow Trail. Keep
your eyes open for volunteer opportunities posted here & on Facebook
in the near future, as the trail will be expanded to 6-7 miles. We are
adding an Interpretive boardwalk that will be accessible to the
physically impaired, as well as a 50' bridge, crossing a section of
the creek & opening up new terrain for the enjoyment of many. Trail
workdays will be set & posted in advance, so you can add these day(s)
to your schedule. Trail days usually include a hot dog or BBQ cookout!
Remember, this is YOUR trail. Your volunteerism is what makes it
happen. DET-TRAC exists, because of you.
We are Looking forward to meeting you & working alongside you on this
endeavor.
