>>>>UPDATE<<<<
Sorry it took so long to get in touch. We spent 3 days closing
recreation
areas and yesterday opening back up. No major damage.
We will be working at Boykin this weekend.
To the folks that might want to camp while here - there is only water
to
the section around the picnic shelter and bathhouse. The camping
area
with water (not to individual sites) is on the far side of the low
water
crossing. The other loops can't be turned on due to leaks. We will
not
have time before you get here to have that fixed. So if you have a
large
trailer you might want to come with all the water you are going to
need or
make some other arrangements.
Again - if you want to camp - I need to know by tomorrow afternoon.
The
gates will not be open until Sat at 8am unless I know you are coming
tomorrow evening.
To all who are coming - the "in gate" must remain closed. The "out
gate"
will be open. So drive carefully through the gate.
We should have all the tools needed but you must have the proper
clothing.
If you have gloves and safety glasses, please bring them also.
We will be clearing lots of limbs and brush, smoothing ground damaged
by
the large equipment that moved trees and tops, removing shrub roots
around
the shelter, using blowers and weed eaters and hopefully scrub down
the
bathhouse.
Any questions?
