35 & 52 mile DET-TRAC Spring Roubaix & Phat-Tyre Ramble

Start getting that old Phat-Tyre, beater single-speed or CX-ride out
&
ready for our 1st (who knows, maybe annual?) East Texas backwoods,
back-roads excursion. This event will take place on many of the
original paths & wagon trails that made their way into Northwest
Lufkin.

The most henious bike that COMPLETES the haul in the 35 & 52 wins.
We'll think of some worthy prize to throw in.}}}}
This is gonna ' be a 'for fun', mostly bumpy blacktop, gravel
&
dirt excursion, traversing many FM & county roads, [dogs included at
no extra charge]. This is a self-supported fund-raiser event for DET-
TRAC. sag may be provided, based on rider turnout...
There are short sections of state highway on mostly smooth
hotmix with wide shoulders. There are options of 35 miles for those
less prepared for the abuse & plenty more punishment you can add-on
if
your into the spring-classic, Epic 52 mile ride.
