The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) is pleased to announce an upcoming Dementia Caregiver Training for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (DD). This in-person training is designed for caregivers, direct support professionals, and service providers who support individuals with DD who may be at risk for or are experiencing dementia. Participants will gain practical strategies, tools, and insights to better support aging individuals with DD through the progression of dementia.
