New HCBS Reviews Portal
DMAS has launched a new application for the ongoing Home and Community Based Setting (HCBS) reviews. Providers who have been identified as providing group home, sponsored residential, supported living, group supported employment and group day providers have been granted access to this new application.
A DMAS Bulletin is forthcoming, and a user guide is available at
https://vamedicaid.dmas.virginia.gov/sites/default/files/2026-01/HCP_UserGuide.pdf.
No additional action is needed from providers at this time as the application will not be used until the bulletin is published and training resources are available.
