An Introduction to Behavior Supports Training

Join us for this online event where we will provide an introductory overview of behavior supports.
Training Title: From ABCs to BSPs: An Introduction to Behavior Supports
Event Date and Time: March 24, 2026, at 11:00am
Description: This is an introductory training focusing on the basics of behavior supports. The objectives for this event are:
- Identify key characteristics and foundational principles of behavior science
- Explain the importance of identifying the functions of behavior
- Describe key components of behavior support programming
- Explain the purpose and expectations of behavior support services
The training will be presented by two DBHDS Behavior Analysts, each with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in various roles across a range of settings.
This event is geared towards providers and caregivers who support individuals receiving behavioral services but may also be useful for clinicians.
DBHDS can provide a certificate of attendance for trainees who enter the waiting room within 5 minutes of the event start time. You must log in individually on your own device and remain in the meeting room until the event officially concludes.
NOTE: This event does not meet CEU requirements for BACB certificants.
