Safetypowers Training: Safety Out in Public  The Arc of Virginia has rescheduled their June 25th safety training for people with disabilities!   The training is free to attend. It will be held online using Zoom. There will be a 30-minute Q&A for those who want more discussion. Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 PM: Safetypowers: Safety Out in Public Doing things out in public is more fun when you can stop problems before they grow.   You'll learn and practice skills to: Set and protect boundaries Create safety plans Deal with upset or angry people Protect yourself from hurtful words, and Get help when you need it—and persist!
