I've seen many games get bogged down by focus on minute details rather
than on the plot and action itself.
More fun to keep the pacing up and the story moving than to weigh
every bit of currency in your backpack.
Unless it's actually fun for your group to play a bunch of
accountants...

I saw a couple books on sale at Borders...
Anyways, the house rules doesn't make the players too miserable [yet].
So far, counting the weigh of gold/water and stuffs has been
relatively easy, of course things might change later on, but i am not
overly worried about that. New house rules can be passed or removed at
any time if things get too complicated. The point of playing d&d is
having fun, and so far we're having a blast! ^^

The house rules are mostly for clarification purposes. The conditions
are there as i plan to use em soon enuf, hopefully b4 3rd level.

FYI, our fighter has just turned 2nd level.
