Updates to water skin, fish hooks, and food. Starvation will cause the
fatigued condition upon your PC.

work.

Too many house rules slow the game down. I think the PHB+DMG has too
many darn rules by themselves :)

it.

Nothing common sense wouldn't solve :)

I've seen many games get bogged down by focus on minute details rather
than on the plot and action itself.

More fun to keep the pacing up and the story moving than to weigh
every bit of currency in your backpack.

Unless it's actually fun for your group to play a bunch of
accountants...

It's just my opinion, I could be wrong :)

Since there is so much detailed rules for increasing PC suffering, may
I recommend the Warhammer Fantasy RolePlay, which has a tried-and-
tested system for making realistic and lethal campaign adventures :)

Didn't know there was a Warhammer roleplay game... the tabletop game
as far as i know, is too combat oriented and the miniatures are too
expensive to play with.

Anyways, the house rules doesn't make the players too miserable [yet].
So far, counting the weigh of gold/water and stuffs has been
relatively easy, of course things might change later on, but i am not
overly worried about that. New house rules can be passed or removed at
any time if things get too complicated. The point of playing d&d is
having fun, and so far we're having a blast! ^^
