One month until Community Wealth Building Day! Outreach Final Push

Happy Friday everyone!

We are officially one month away from our DC Community Wealth Building Day. As we enter the final stretch, the name of the game will be 'Outreach, Outreach, Outreach.' I sent us an email on Monday with short blurbs we can use to tailor invitations to either day to folks in our networks, as well as flyers.

If you didn't get the chance to send invitations on Monday, then now is the chance!

If you sent invitations to folks before this week and haven't heard back, I encourage you to boost your invitations or maybe give those folks a call to invite them personally or make sure they saw it.

If you sent invitations this week, I encourage you to set a reminder in your calendar one or two weeks from now to boost those messages or check in if you don't get a response by then.

Additionally, here is a reminder that next week, Friday the 3rd at 10 AM, we will have our last virtual Coalition Meeting before the CWB Day. And on Monday the 13th at 6 PM, we will have our last in-person work session before the CWB Day. On both days we will dig into day-of logistics and recruit volunteers. If you are able to volunteer during either the Saturday Strategy Session or the Sunday Cooperative Festival but are unable to attend next week's coalition meeting, please respond to this email to let me know. We will be looking for helpers with set-up and take-down, greeters, activity facilitators, and maybe some other miscellaneous roles.
