Justin,
Have you ever considered starting your own worker cooperative? Or
maybe you're considering converting your existing business or the one
you're currently working for into a worker co-op, but have never tried
because it sounds a little too daunting?
If so, we are very excited and proud to be able to say that we can
help you get over that hump and on your way to a better world of work.
We've teamed up with Left Forum and People's Network for Land &
Liberation to offer a 14-week online course that equips
participants with the tools to build, maintain, and grow their
own worker co-op.
Inspired by the Wellspring Cooperative Corporation in
Springfield, MA, the Worker Co-Op Academy will be led by Emily Kawano,
and David Cobb. We know many of you have been asking us to do this for
a long time, and now that we have the right people in place, we're
thrilled to be able to bring this to life this year.
The WCA is presented by the Left Forum as part of its new
program of courses, launching later this year, called the Left
Education Project. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks as we'll
be announcing more classes, seminars, and other projects we're sure
you'll want to be a part of.
For now, classes for the Worker Co-Op Academy begin September
2nd. All the rest of the details can be found here,
