Hello everyone! I hope we are enjoying this warm weekend.

Here is a reminder for our In-Person Work Session will be tomorrow (Monday, 9/8) at 6:00 PM at MLK Library (901 G St NW, Washington, DC 20001). Note, we will be in Room 302-D, NOT our usual room on the fourth floor. We will use the time to do concerted outreach to folks listed in the outreach spreadsheet and whoever else comes to mind while we are collaborating, and will discuss two other outstanding topics.

Also, here is a final reminder to please add to the outreach spreadsheet whether or not you will be able to join us tomorrow! Filling it out is pretty self-explanatory but feel free to text or email me if you have any questions.

Here are some additional groups to consider from previous years in case it's helpful:

Is there a flyer already that can be passed around?

If not, here is the one I made last time in case you want to use any part of it again and tweak or just as a frame of reference. I can also convert all or parts of it to Canva for others to edit if needed just let me know.

My regrets with being absent over these last several weeks, unfortunately we have been moving back into our home after 1 year of being under construction. I am not feeling how I can be more engaged in the planning process for this October event, given my challenges with unpacking at our present residence.

I will attempt to stay engaged as much as possible. If there are little things I can do independently, please advise.
