You're Invited!
The Public Interest Technology program at New America cordially invites you to join us on May 11th for Connecting the Dots: Technology to Bridge from Clinic to Community at New America in Washington, DC.
This half-day convening will bring together healthcare and public health professionals, technologists, designers, social service providers, researchers, and foundations to discuss the role of technology in facilitating connections between the health and human services sectors.
Our conversation will focus on applied value for all participants, including tools and lessons learned from coalitions and organizations who are currently tackling this work in their own communities.
We will kick off with a fireside chat with Dr. Susan Blumenthal, current Director of the New America Health Innovations Lab and Health Policy program at New America and former U.S. Assistant Surgeon General. Subsequently, we will hear insights from Baltimore City leaders who are systematically tackling patients' social needs from a variety of angles, as well as break into working sessions led by topic experts and designed to surface best practices for high-priority issues such as patient privacy and end-user design.
Please see invitation attached for more details and RSVP by Monday May 7th to let us know if you can make it! A formal agenda and additional information will be shared over the next few days as well. The event is open to the public so feel free to circulate to your networks widely. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Please contact Sonia Sarkar at sar...@newamerica.org with any questions or concerns.
We look forward to seeing you!
Sincerely,
Sonia
