Hi Everyone,
Finals are almost over and it's time to head up to the mountains for some fun on the snow. We are going to be training Sunday December 15th through Tuesday December 17th at Sugar Bowl. We'll be doing a bunch of different things to get your skiing and snowboarding started off right and improving from the very beginning of the season. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the returning members again and meeting the new members. If you aren't sure if you are going to make it up yet, make it happen! This is the best time to start working on your riding by starting with good habits at the beginning of the season when no one else is on the hill and you aren't dying to ski the powder in the trees.
Skiing/Riding Saturday?
Chaz and I want to encourage you to take it mellow and slow if you are getting out on Saturday. Chaz has been starting his seasons that way for years, and it's been working well for me too since Chaz told me about it a few years ago. This gives you a chance to get your feet back underneath you, your balance to come back, and you be to able to feel your skis or board without having to use every muscle you've got just to make it down. It's up to you, but if you want your skiing/boarding to improve a lot this season, it's the best way to start.
Here's the schedule:
8:30 - Meet upstairs @ Judah Lodge
(If you need to get your pass, show up a little earlier)
9:00 - Sunday (quick meeting), Monday/Tuesday (ready to go)
Lunchtime and end of the day will depend some on conditions.
Chaz and I are looking forward to seeing all of you. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or call me -
530-219-4686.
See you on the snow!
Coach Jeremy
