Conclave Update

Hey Koalas!

Don't forget about Conclave! LTG Conclave on February 13th is where the division gets to elect the new Lieutenant Governor for the 2010-2011 year.

Remember that each club should be sending two delegates (hopefully the new President and Vice-President), but you can all still contribute! Come listen to the speeches, ask questions, and then talk to your club's delegates before they put their votes in.

The two candidates are....

Ryan Pak from Granada Hills

Dahlia Maldonaldo from Van Nuys

They have both produced literature containing more information about themselves, so please download and read through it.

Note: neither of their literatures is in graphic standards because it is not a requirement that Lieutenant Governor literatures be in graphic standards, so don't hold that against them!
Also, candidates are NOT allowed to campaign outside of their clubs before the actual Conclave, so please do NOT contact them regarding their running for Lieutenant Governor.

Hey Koalas,

So to start, just a reminder that our annual Conclave is this Saturday, February 13th, from 3:30PM to 4:30PM.

Following up, we'll have DCM from 4:30PM to 5:30PM.

Then we'll have our Sweetheart's Ball from 6:00PM to 10:00PM!

As for Conclave, there has been a slight change. 

Due to District Policy 142.1, our Regional Advisor Mr. Ridnor and the SLP Director Mr. Hennings have ruled that Dahlia Maldonado is no longer an eligible candidate for LTG because she failed to submit her required paperwork on time. This is an official District Policy that is being enforced by the administrators, and there is no way to override it. 

I would like to make it clear that NO Key Clubbers were involved in the making of this decision. There was no "bias" or "cheating" involved, the District Policy can be found in the Policy Manual on the CNH CyberKey and it is strictly enforced by the SLP Director. 

Thus, the only candidate still running for Lieutenant Governor is Ryan Pak. Again, due to District Policy, a Conclave is still necessary, so please don't take this as a "Conclave has been cancelled e-mail" and come listen to and support Ryan, then have a fun night with the division!
