A Message From
The Dayton Cycle Club
Huffman Classic Bike Tour - May 13 – CCC Discount
From “family” to “fast”, Dayton Cycling Club’s 43rd Huffman Classic will be
a great day of cycling for everyone. Includes 30-, 50-, and 62.5-mile
routes from Moraine (just off I-75, only 30 miles north of I-275), thru
Germantown, and on thru the countryside west of town.
Register now, and more info, at http://daytoncyclingclub.org/huffman-classic. This
website includes a link to the three routes in GPS – downloadable!
Cost is only $15 for both DCC and CCC members! ($20 for the public, and
both are $10 more after April 30). When you register online, click
the box for being a DCC member, and provide your CCC member number in the
spot where it asks for the DCC member number.
The rolling farmland and river scenery make for beautiful springtime bike
riding. Come enjoy the morning. Check-in and Registration begin at 7:00 at
Wax Park in Moraine (see directions on website). Breakfast foods, two SAG
stops with great foods, and a lunch at the end are included. Kettering Bike
Shop and K&G Bike Center will provide mechanical support at the start
and at the first SAG stop in Germantown, respectively.
A new feature this year: Riders may send in their riding times to publish
on the DCC webpage, broken down by gender and age categories. You may see
how you did relative to others, if you wish!
