The final draft of the Currier and Ives Scenic Byway Corridor
Management Plan has been posted:
Appendix A, FHWA 14 Points:
Appendix B, Byway Inventory:

Please feel free to review the document and appendices prior to next
week's meeting. A series of edits were made based on suggestions
received during the public comment period.
On Thursday, Feb. 11th at 7:00pm at the Hopkinton Town Library, the
Corridor Management Plan will be presented. Following that meeting,
any last minor changes will be made, and the document will be
submitted to each town's Board of Selectmen for adoption through a
Resolution of Support. When a permanent Byway Council meets later this
spring, it can also vote to adopt the CMP.
I'd like to emphasize that this document is a planning tool to be used
by future Byway groups and the local communities. It is not a
regulatory document and does not affect any town's authority to make
planning or regulatory decisions.
I also want to recognize everyone who participated in the planning
process over the past year. Thank you for dedicating your time and
energy to this project! I hope that there will be momentum to continue
the work of preserving, promoting, and enhancing the Byway in our
communities.
Finally, please forward these links to other members of your community
who may have an interest in the Byway. Please help to spread the word
about next week's meeting as well.
As always, I am available if you have any questions or concerns. I
look forward to seeing everyone on Feb. 11th.
