Next Byway Committee meeting Thursday, Dec. 10th

Hello Everyone,

The next Currier and Ives Scenic Byway Committee meeting will be held
on Thursday, Dec. 10th at 6:30pm at Academy Hall in Salisbury.

We will review the draft Corridor Management Plan and create an Action
Plan and Implementation Schedule to include in the CMP. I will send
everyone the draft CMP early in the first week of December so you will
have time to review and think of comments.

Please help publicize this meeting in your town--we want to get
community input and let folks know about what is happening with the
Byway.


Update on the Letter of Intent:

The LOI was submitted to Dean Eastman at DOT via email on Nov. 13th.
In it we proposed a modest $10,000 project including a website, map,
logo, and four roadside kiosks. So far, Hopkinton's Board of Selectmen
has signed the letter. The Salisbury BOS will consider the letter this
evening. We are waiting to hear from Webster and Henniker after their
next BOS meetings. Thanks to everyone for their efforts in getting
town participation! We will need to find solid quotes and finalize the
scope of our project before submitting our formal application.
