Project volunteers are using Internet Relay Chat (IRC) to communicate and collaborate in real time. Volunteers welcome. To use the chat, you can use a web-based system or download an IRC client program:

  • Web Interface: http://irc.rhok.net (<-- just click there to join chat, Flash required)
  • Recommended clients: Colloquy (Mac), mIRC (Windows), xchat2 (X Windows/Linux)
    • Server: irc.rhok.net (standard ports) or 72.14.187.155 (if DNS is failing)
    • Channels: #crisiscommons (default channel, for general chat), #crisiscamp, #cchaiti,
