going There are several things in flight, here is how it looks to be
shaping up:
1. Conference call tonight - 8pm central, dial in and join (this is
free but on demand, hope you have free long-distance on your phones: 1

2. We should likely have everyone register both in the Google Group
'CrisisCampChicago', and also in ebrite:http://
crisiscampchicago.eventbrite.com. Make sure we are registered in
both.
3. Folks seem inclined for a mini-camp this weekend to get together
and share ideas, determine ways to extend reach to multiple folks,
structure for organization collaboration, projects, etc. Also this
weekend the idea of participating remotely in DC and/or LA camps to
observe. We have DePaul University as a location, also a backup...to
be finalized tonight.
4. We want to plan for a full camp next weekend, 01/30 or 31...
5. Here are some things/discussion points that are in flight that I
gathered from various folks, we can discuss tonight, but also ADD if
you want too:
a. Securing Venue/Location - for 01/23, 0130/31, and beyond, as this
will be long term (Deb 01/23, Susan believes ITA beyond).
b. How to best participate remotely in one of the other camps this
weekend (our contact at crisiscommons has not replied back, so we may
have to go direct).
-Anyone?
c.Participant/Volunteer Management - Looking for best way to gather/
collect information on participants, ie, their skills, etc. (Benji)
d. Collaboration - Probably best to use google groups to centralize
our communications and discussions (Benji, Deb)
-Chat??
e. Public Announcements, communication, recruitment, for Crisis Camp

*Probably best to use these more for general communication, links,
etc., and this is how people will find us, not so much for general
group organization:
