Hello Everyone
Just a line to let everybody know where we'll be Friday and Saturday. This week
will be Cowboys Arlington on Friday. The floor there is much improved lately.
The finish they applied a couple of months ago has worn off down to wood
finally. They were very helpful in putting out dance wax last time we were
there. Only in the corners though. The music is a good mix of shuffle, night
club, waltz, two step, west coast and progressive. It is affordable to drinkers
with drink specials until 9:00. The band they have there now is the same one
that has been at Cowboys Red River. They are pretty good with a varity of dance
tunes. They are also not as loud as the previous band. We get there about 7:00
and the floor is ours pretty much. So try and make the trip and we'll have a
dancing good time.
Saturday Night will be at the Electric Cowboy. Drink specials include $1.00 u
call its until 9:00. They're the short drinks and do not include shots. The DJ
starts about 7:20 or so and plays a very good mix of music for dancers. I am
now working with the Coorperation music director for EC to redo the mix played
from 6:00 until 8:00. It will include dance songs galore of every type. It may
take me a week or so to finish getting this set up. Once again we get there
about 7:00 to enjoy the open floor. Any questions email me at

I'm very excited about starting this list and hope all of you will join us. For
those of you who talk about not having partners to practice with, this may end
up being your ticket. For those of you who do have partners, try to remember
one thing. There was a time you may not have. Everyone loves to dance so ask
somebody. That goes for the girls too.
