The Texas Twisters are pleased to announce the latest in a continuing series of Couples Dance Lessons.
Triple Two Step!
Some folks may know this dance as "Progressive Double 2"
If you have not yet come to one of our Wed night classes then you are really missing out on a great class and a great value! Why not start the new year off right and make dancing one of your New Year's Resolutions?!?!
Location:
Reverchon Recreation Center in Reverchon Park, 3505 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX
When:
Wednesdays in Jan 7:45pm - 8:55p Four Classes:
Jan 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
Level:
The basics will be covered at the start of the class then moves and patterns
will be taught based on the skill level of the folks attending the class,
becoming progressively more complex as the class continues.
Who:
Our instructor is Gretchen Lutz who just returned from the UCWDC World
Championships with a shiny new WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE!!!
Congratulations to Gretchen and her dance partner Sloane! Gretchen
competes in Division I in UCWDC and is the coach for Team Twister, the
Texas Twisters' performance & competition dance team.
More Who:
Anyone can attend the lessons. It is highly recommended that you not miss
the first class of the set because that is when the basic footwork will be
presented. No partner is required.
Lead and follow roles are not gender specific in this class:
...Ladies are welcome to Lead or Follow
...Fellas are welcome to Follow or Lead.
Feel free to bring friends, family, boy-friends, girl friends, significant others and
just about anybody who wants to learn how to dance. Spread the word to
everyone you know and everyone you don't! :-)
The secret agenda..... Shhhhhh! ... is, as always, to have FUN! :-)
Cost:
Twister Club Members: $10 per lesson
Non-club members: $15 per lesson
Membership forms will be available at every lesson so that folks can join on
the spot and get the discount.
