I know you guys are jonesin'. Thought I would try this out for awhile.
Read the "test" post, and play around with your settings. You can get
a "tree" view like the old yahoo Coultervakia, a message board view
like manor's Coultervakia, or an e-mail discussion (which annoys me
and clutters up my inbox). How the group is viewed is up to each
individual member's settings.

Also, if you know anyone from either of the old Coultervakia's, please
invite them on over.

Don't forget: Once you join Google, they send you an e-mail. You then
click on the link in that email and it "verifies" you to post in
google groups. When you sign in, you use the email address that you
provided. NOT the username you chose.

I actually created this before I knew the yahoo group existed. I don't
mean to pry into that group and piss the owner off. So I guess we'll
just see how it plays out. But I *do* like this format better than the
yahoo format. It's an easier interface with a lot more bells and
whistles that lets you customize it so it's easier on the eyes.

I like formats that let me read thru the entire thread without having
to navigate a lot,,,,,,,,,
This one appears to have that capability.

Yeah, but how much weight do the rec's carry when it's just us two?
Hopefully more people will join, but I don't want to push it too much.
Like I said before, I created this and sent the invites before I
realized that someone created a yahoo group board. My goal wasn't to
start a race between the two groups.

Yeah. Having all this crap e-mailed to you sucks. I hate that. Much
easier to just use it as a Message Board. Plus it keeps track of all
the new messages (to you) that have been posted.

OK, I just set everyone (all 3 of us) to "no email". So it should be
OK now. But I have noticed that there is a 1-2 minute delay in new
settings taking hold.

Funny enough, this place doesn't show up when I google

Thanks for the invite. We'll have to see which place works out best.

I haven't seen Moosh around. I know he started a new job, and I
figured he probably needed a few days to adjust to that. But I hope
that he didn't come back and just find Coultervakia gone without a
trace, and not know enough to check e-mail under the moosh id.....
