Also, does anyone know good INNOVATION BOOKS that are BLEEDING EDGE! I
do not want to hear about any made before 2003... ;-)
ThinkSolveDo
I actually think we are getting the bleeding back into bleeding edge in
a few ways...
1. Bad: Countries outside the USA are proving to be quite innovative
and that is causing American Companies to bleed cash and market share.
2. Good: Innovation is finally beginning to be considered THE king pin
to corporate profits it actually is.
3. Good: Small companies, and innovators, are again beginning to bring
innovative products to market on their own.
Innovation is beginning to be innovative again.
I am doing research on this now and believe all indicators show this
trend to be quickly emerging. It will be nice to see America get back
its spirit of innovation.

PS. I also maintain a book list of some of my classics:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/listmania/fullview/2JOYWDV6HF5R5/102-4239979-9796149?%5Fencoding=UTF8
It is aimed at designers and buyers of design, though it will be quite
useful
to process/team/leader types. Homework has to be sent in electronically but
you don't need to be a visual creative.
Among the innovators we study are:
Thackara: _In The Bubble_
von Hippel: _Democraticizing Innovation_
Manns and Rising: _Fearless Change_
Various authors: _Triz_
I would appreciate any other short lists of key books. Every week I will
have
"digested" a book and given the students a summary. Ideas for e-mail
lists or sites
where I could put a class notice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
