Title: IBM WebSphere

Location: Irvine, CA

Rate: 40-45$/hr c-c

 

Job Description:

·         Install, configure, administer & support Fatwire / IBM Web sphere application in multiple environments.
·         Manage Fatwire application in standalone & clustered instances. Deploy multiple applications within the product as needed
·         Manage, implement & test upgrades to the product, including impact analysis on new features, releases and patches, managing the upgrade project, including testing and production cutover.
·         Work with respective vendor support team as needed to resolve issues around the product & applications deployed within the product.
·         Work closely with application development team in terms of rolling out custom & business need based enhancements to the product or application as needed.
Review logs across the web, app and database tier and route issues back to appropriate resources for resolution.
·         Schedule installations and upgrades, and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
·         Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
·         Administer and maintain user access across multiple administrative interfaces for the product & application
·         Keep up to date with the latest happening’s in the relevant product space and provide suggestions for future roadmap within the organization
·         Provide documentation support around the product & application administration in terms of day to day maintenance, overall architecture etc as needed.
·         Provide metrics around the product / application usage based on different parameters.
·         Write scripts to automate day to day tasks, configure security within the product environment as required.
 

Key Skill Sets Required:

Fatwire Content Server Suite of Products (preferred) or Knowledge in Other ECM/WCM Tools and Trained in Fatwire
Exposure to J2EE & OOPS concepts
Experince in industry standard Java containers specifically IBM WebSphere
Experience in Web Servers (Apache, IBM HTTP Server etc.)
Experience in RedHat Linux
Experience in Production Support
• Good communication skills
