The connections between labor exploitation and animal oppression are
numerous, but many progressive activists associate the animal rights
and animal welfare movement with lifestyle change and middle class
leisure; we constantly re-enforce this association with food events,
pushing "alternative" products, and taking a "moral outrage" appoach to
the matter. Your thoughts?
