Hi,
I would like to know if an option exist to set an entry in /dev (like
/dev/sda) faulty where a connection error occurs on a channel

I explain my problem.
I use four channel to connect a san with core-iscsi
if the connection of the channel 0 become down I can't access the
device until the connection came back (I try to unplug ethrernet cable
and plug again).
if I do for exemple :
# fdisk -l /dev/sda
the command is blocked forever

is there any solution to put the drive in failure mode ??

I use Fedora Core 5 with kernel 2.6.17-1.2187_FC5
and core-iscsi-v1.6.2.9, core-iscsi-tools-v3.5
