With The Seeds, The Blues Magoos, Count Five, The Leaves, The
Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Chocolate
Watchband, and The Human Beinz. -- On the same day of the death of
Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett (June 25, 2009), the music world
also lost Sky Saxon (at age 71), lead singer of the seeds and early
pioneer of garage & psychedelic rock forms, and who later went on to a
