Qur'anic Invocation: Dua for protection against the torment of Hell

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuh! Allah Subhanuhu wa Ta`ala says (interpretation of the meaning): "And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright." (The Noble Qur'an: Surah #2, Ayah #186) We would like to share some invocations from the Noble Qur'an. Since these invocations are mentioned in Qur'an and are taught to us by Allah Subhanuhu wa Ta`ala Himself they are the best and perfect invocations.   Du'a for protection against the torment of Hell Jahannam ke 'Azaab se bachne ki Du'a Transliteration "Rabbanasrif 'anna 'azaaba jahannama inna 'azaabaha kaana `gharama;" "Innaha sa'at mustaqarran wa muqama." ( The Noble Qur'an: Surah-25 ~ Ayah-65-66 ) Interpretation of meaning in Urdu "Aye humare Rabb! Jahannam ke `azaab ko humse door rakhiye ki usska `azaab bara hi muhlak (aur daemi) hai;" "Woh to (aarezi thaherne walon ke liye) bahut hi buri qaraar-gah aur (daemi rahne walon ke liye) buri qayaam-gah hai." Interpretation of meaning in English "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell for its torment is ever an inseparable permanent punishment;" "Indeed, it is an evil abode and an evil place to rest in."
