Does anyone have a favorite trick or one they are working on right now?

I am working more and more on 2 ball and 4 ball vertical columns.
As well as stretching CJ stytle. Including Hands body and mind, well
CJ has always stretched my mind so that wasn't that hard.

I'm working on my body rolling such as chestrolls, neckrolls and the
legendary self-half-behind the head-chestroll a.k.a. McTwist......
I bougth some Mr. Babache Stage balls for this, so I don't mind if i
drop them. When i get good at them i'll use my only acrylic :)

Impressive.
I am working on basic bodyrolls. My hair is my nemesis for the behind
the neck. I will be working on it with a Mercur #8 and #10 when I
start putting it up Probably a top knot like Silver does to start
with. We will see.

I like the Babaches to keep me from breaking some stuff.
I use a 3.5" black plastic LedraPlastic ball. I hope Bob get's more
in. We will see.

I also use a Babache they are fun to play with. I like the 100mm.
The 72 is a bit light for me at times.

As far as CJ goes- I'm a beginner. I can do some simple
passes from hand/arm to hand/arm and what I think is called
the windshield. I'm working on control on my arm rolls.

As far as juggling goes, I'm working on the 4-ball Mills
Mess and 5-ball juggling.

So far I've only done CJ with my regular juggling balls.
Trust me, its a lot easier than the juggling bean-bags I
started with.

My first acrllic should arrive in the mail Wednesday.
Somebody just mentioned getting good with a trick before
using an acryllic.. because of scratches I guess. Is that
a common practice? I've been looking forward to being able
to CJ with a "real CJ ball."

I always train using a stage ball before i use my acrylic.
1. A stage ball doesn't hurt if it hits your head orso.
2. A stage ball doesn't scratch.
3. I don't wanna break a window :)

Wow. I have tried 5 balls and can not get over the hump.
So I don't really consider myself a good jugular because of it.
I have put the time in but my brain never seems to wrap itself around it.
I think I will start on it again soon.
Keep up your Juggling and CJ takes time. Try to enjoy the ride.

If you plan on performing with an acrylic or plastic ball.
Then you need to practice with that.
The issue is that people have hurt themselves with 4" or 100mm
acrylics when doing behind the neck and around the body work. Also
head stalls and head throws.
I am a persons that practices or plays with everyball I can get my hands on.
So if I have a squishy ball I use that when doing things that can
cause a knock out or concusion(sp?). Then I will move to a metal or
plastic ball when I am ready.
The metal or plastic has a more illusionary effect over the squishies.
The only word of advise is to make sure to use a perfectly round ball.
Don't use bean bags and such. As you mention they are hard. They
also don't teach as well, in my opinion.
Just because a squishy is squishy doesn't make it easier. The moves
are just as hard and sometimes harder. Plastic and metal are just
more dangerous for certain things. I should say EXTREME.

Consistent throws are my problem.
I get erratic on my 3rd throw.
Good luck.

I'm working on 3 and 4 ball palmspinning, still new to this "More than
1 acrylic" thing :P
Busy with school and other work, though, so not much time to CJ :(

Right now I'm trying to learn how to palm spin more than three ball on
my right hand... Does anyone find it funny that my right hand is the
dominate hand and yet I am able to spin better with my left hand and I
could do 4 ball stack spin on my left only. ? Weird.

NOPE.
That ain't weird.
It is called muscle memory. Your left doesn't have it so it learns quicker.
Your right has learned lots of stuff like writing eating brushing your
teeth. So it needs to unlearn it.

With more that 3 do you mean flat or stacked like the pyramid?
For flat I recommend putting your other hand next to the hand spinning
so when the ball flys out you can catch it.

The best tip is to spend a little time each day. Between 5 and 30
minutes. Also you can watch TV while you spin. Make sure to use both
hand even though you need to use the remote.
