The Conniption Fits
It has been a crazy couple of weeks in a lot of familiar places. We
left off at Rosa Flamingoes on the 21st of February. Great show,
Seth even came down and we played as an acoustic trio. Oh yeah, that
was Hil's birthday too, can you say carried out? We hit Jay Peak on
the 28th then the Dutch Treat was a lot of fun on the 29th. I have
yet to see Maceo's video but I bet it is super cool with at least one
special cameo. The following week we hit Sunday River, Bretton
Woods, Jay Peak and Sunday River again. It was a whirlwind of hotels
and skiers. After or Saturday show at The Matterhorn (Sunday River)
we woke up to a fire alarm going off at our Motel. Naturally we
looked like the people to blame but honestly, we were sleeping! We
got it sorted out and I barley even remembered that it happened.
Erik talked to the angry people, what a guy.
This week brings us to Rendezvous in Newport, VT and The Shashkeen in
Manchvegas, NH. As promised we have and all new light show for you
and our light guy, Steveo (I'm Stevie - just like in high school, it
gets a bit confusing otherwise) has been doing an amazing job running
them. We are one step closer to a Pink Floyd show now.
Next week we really look forward to our return to The Packing House
in Lyndonville, VT. They have had to close a couple of times and the
liquor dudes have not been kind to them so help out the Packer and
come to this show. This is the place to be in the north country.
Saturday we play a double header at The Matterhorn in Stowe, VT, for
St. Patric's day. Always a good time and plenty of dumb tricks and
give aways. Promise!
