Let's not break with a good tradition!

Monday night, 6pm at Piola in Rosslyn.

We can debrief on what we liked and didn't like so we can do it better next time and figure out the best way to support the tangibles that are coming out of the event...

See you then,
Wayne

Well, from what I've experienced outside of DC on the 'net, it was a resounding success! Thank you very much for putting this important camp together.

On my part last weekend from Texas, I was able to receive streaming audio/video most of the time, but, unfortunately the audio was difficult to understand or hear, except for the person(s) right next to the microphone.  That needs to be improved for next time.  I first used Twitter for the text messages, but moved over soon to a Twitter service web site called Twazzup--
http://www.twazzup.com/congresscamp; there are still messages with our tag coming in..  In fact, I contributed to the tweet stream last weekend as you all were doing, finding web site links for people, giving feedback on the video stream, etc.

I look forward to another of this camp, perhaps on regionally, in Dallas or Austin for me??

Thanks again,
David Weller

I'm so glad that it was engaging outside the beltway as well as in!! And if you weren't aware, the majority of the sessions have been archived on video by OpenMeetings.org - it's just going to take them a couple of months to get them prepped and publicly available because of their backlog in production (incidentally, anyone with video skills should contact them to help).

And David, you should find out if there is enough interest in TX to pull one of these together. Obviously, it would be MUCH different from ours, but you may be able to get some staffer attendees from the district offices to attend or even turn the focus to the Texas state legislature. It's amazing how these things sort of take on a life of their own as long as there's someone there to manage the organization of the event.

Thanks for your input all along the way,

Wayne

I'm going to come and thank everyone for their work on the conference... the outcome is so cool.

Also want to thank Chris Dorobek of Federal News Radio for coming to Congress Camp and then interviewing me about Riski, the open source project for financial markets regulations. Here the interview here:

Thanks especially to Wayne for his excellent leadership.
