senior project?

Hi, I'm a transfer student to CSUS under the EEE major and I just started my first semester here. I've taken many EEE courses and I'm getting ready to start looking for a senior project. I've heard that the university will not be offering the Senior Project A class in spring and I'd really like to graduate as soon as possible without having to wait another year (fall 2010, spring 2011) just to get my senior project done.

 

I've heard that the power focus might have a senior project that only takes one semester. Does the Robotics focus have a one semester senior project as well?

 

Also what prerequisite classes should I have completed before I begin a senior project for Robotics? I don't want to enter this without the proper background.

 

I'm not sure if you can answer all these senior project questions, but if you have any information, I'd greatly appreciate it.
