About the Position: As an Information Assurance Security Officer at
Joint Interagency Task Force South, you will work in the Directorate
for Intelligence and Security (J2) in Key West and provide computer
systems security and network support to the command's headquarters in
Key West and to tactical assets performing real-world counterdrug and
counter-narcoterrorist operations. You will work in a unique joint
environment with all military services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine
Corps and Coast Guard) and a multitude of interagencies (e.g., Customs
and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, DEA, FBI).

MAJOR DUTIES:
Top
Responsible for computer network defense. Manages development of IA
project plans & provides oversight of system/project implementation.
Provides cradle-to-grave IT support to teams conducting tests.
Provides technical advice/guidance on a wide range & variety of
complex IT systems. Develops policies/procedures to ensure information
system reliability/accessibility & to prevent/protect/defend against
unauthorized access & confidentiality of SCI systems/networks/ data.
Scans/monitors/detects/eradicates internal/external threats for
numerous DoD networks & guest systems. Identifies/resolves difficult &
complex desktop/server problems in a multiple operating system
environment. Develops & maintains multiple Defense Information
Technology Security Certification & Accreditation Process systems
security documentation. Conducts risk management, configuration
management, maintains & updates the accreditation for NIPRNET/SIPRNET/
TS SCI DoDIIS systems & Cross Domain Solutions.
