JOB DUTIES IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE

This is a temporary position involving various duties that permit
exposure to the student's field of study &/or provide experience that
is a useful addition to the student's education & meaningful
preparation for future professional employment.
Student will assist in the general tasks associated with collection,
processing & analyses of data obtained from pavement condition ratings
(PCR), the E-274 locked wheel friction tester, the Road profiling
equipment and other highway testing/survey equipment. Assist in
literature search, collecting, processing and analyzing data and in
preparing preliminary reports for research or evaluation projects in
the Office of Pavement Engineering. Student will also assist the
Office generating GIS maps using geo-media.
(MAY REQUIRE OVER-NIGHT TRAVEL)
*Hours may vary depending upon student's schedule &/or work
assignments.
Must provide own transportation; in order to operate a state-owned
vehicle must show proof of possessing a valid driver's license.
