PROFILE OF OPEN POSITIONS
Title: GIS Technician
Position Description: Interprets and analyzes street-level images to
provide location and descriptive information of roadway infrastructure
for use in GIS Data Bases.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Successful completion of a yearlong GIS course at the college level
2. Able to Interpret and navigate a map
3. References showing a dependable work history
4. Proficient in Microsoft Windows & PC operation
5. Available fulltime 9 AM - 5 PM M-F
6. Excellent driving record
7. US Citizen
8. High School Diploma or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Associates Degree in GIS
2. Completion of a GIS Certification Program
3. Coursework in GIS Programming & DBMS
4. Proficient in Access, Excel, & Word
5. Available for travel in 10 -15 day shifts
